Dyson DC04 suckless!

I have a DC04, I've got more suck than it has!. I've thoroughly cleaned the filters at the top of the dust collection box, I've checked all the pipework and it's all fine. The motor isn't noisy, any ideas?

When you say you have cleaned all the filters did you actually wash & dry the foam one?

Yes, washed n dried the foam and the thin one bonded into the foam holder.

This is interesting as my DC014 Animal one has a very similar problem. It has plenty of suck through the hose, however when used as a normal vacum cleaner on the carpet it does buxxer all except the brush spins. I have checked all pipes and they are clear.
