Dyson DC05 wiring to motor, Which colour to which terminal?

Hi

I have just replaced my burnt out panasonic motor in my dyson DC05 cylinder vaccum cleaner but I cant remember which terminals on the motor the brown and blue wires from the switch go! 1 terminal is fixed to the motor and the other one is attached to the motor but is on the end of a dangling wire.

Are there any sparkies out there who can advise me and will it go bang if I just try different combinations?
