My DC07 (Purple and Lime) is poorly. The motor runs but the brush does not spin regardless of the position of the clutch control knob. The belt is intact and I could not see anything obvious wrong. I stripped it down and removed the clutch thinking maybe the belt inside the clutch cover was broken. It wasn't. I have removed the clutch but still can't see anything wrong. I have ordered a new clutch but can't help thinking that I might be missing something obvious and maybe putting in a new clutch will not solve the problem. Any ideas very welcome?
