We have a Dyson DC07 allergy model with brush bar control and Hepa filter.
I suspect the motor has developed a serious fault. Runs but does not sound normal smells of burning and blows out smoke also seems to be a bit of a flash from the switch.
Only dared allow it to run for a couple of seconds though!
Already discovered that the layer of foam below the Hepa filter is all burnt (thats not supposed to require any attention or be user serviceable!)
However I cannot see how to get the motor out even after removing all the screws I can find.
Can anybody help with any online instructions for dismantling these. I don't want to break any plastic bits if I can avoid it.
