Ear phones for I-Pad

I've got a new I-Pad, my sons will want to play games etc (in quiet ), I'm sure you can buy a jack or something that will allow 2 people to have a pair of headphones each, so they can both listen at the same time?

Also, does anyone know where you can get ear phones with a very long cable, they all seem to be 1.2 metres in length.

You can buy adaptors which split to two 3.5mm stereo jacks, wether or not it is a good idea to have one sticking out the side of an expensive electronic device is another matter.
You can plug an extension lead in, plug a 3.5mm split into the end of that and then two sets of normal headphones.
