Where would be the appropriate place to attach the earth wire when using a galvanised junction box like the one here to wire lights (using terminal block for connections) please? Do I just attach it to one of the screws? View media item 53117
£14.50?(going to look something like this http://www.historiclighting.co.uk/product/ceiling-rose-pattress-cable-clamp-galvenised )
Indeed, TLC don't appear to sell that sort of box. But then Screwfix don't appear to sell bonding nipples. The other two I had looked at also, but unless I'm missing something TLC don't stock a galvanised loop in box, and screwfix is out of stock for collection in my area
You're in London, not the Outer Hebrides - there are wholesalers all over the place.Might be stuck with what I've got, which is all my local screwfix had. Thanks anyway!
are just installing single ceiling roses and looping visible cable to hooks to position the lights.
I've seen that too.Other option is simple looped wires across the ceiling which I've seen done to good effect in some trendy bars.
No need to be such a pain in the bum now is there?
...........we'll be making about £140k in a year when this house goes on the market.
