Another one about earths... I have a lighting circuit with no earth wire. Could I simply run an earth cable to another part of the lighting circuit if there was one there?

Your probably best to rewire the lighting circuit.......easier in the long run....

It IS a rewire. You cannot simply run a new cable for that circuit.
