Easiest / cheapest way to fix potholes in driveway (pic)

Basically need to make some cheap repairs to a driveway with some fairly big potholes (nothing more than 50mm deep). Can't afford a full resurface. I've been looking at different solutions:

1) Fill with type 1 mot, perhaps mixed with cement and compact
2) Use post-fix / post cement
3) Use driveway repair macadam (might look too dark with this drive but seems easy to use and durable)

Any ideas which to go for?

Cold lay macadam, or concrete. MOT will get dragged out again over time. Make sure holes are clean before filling or material wont take to existing.

Concrete will match better, but you may need to remove some of the existing base, and then compact the base down to get at least 75mm of concrete on a firm base

If the hardcore below is sodden, then it may be too soft to support anything, and it risks being churned up or sinking in no time

So, you may been to take some of the base out and import some fresh hardcore

A cheap quick job does not mean it will last
