Hi All,
I bought this original 1930’s style fireplace and I’m happy with the finish front on, but the sides need a little tidy up - see photos.
Ideally I’d like to avoid stripping the whole thing back if possible. I don’t know what kind of wood it is.
I was thinking to sand the offending parts but matching the varnish up to existing wood will be impossible no?
Any ideas? TIA
