Eclipse !!

Trying to get ready for taking an eclipse photo on my phone today, but every time I try I'm getting a little dot below the sun like this.....

I've had it a couple of times - Anyone know what it is ??

It's some sort of reflection or double image from inside the lens. A much more technical explanation will be along shortly from someone else

Alternatively it could be a UFO, lots of pictures of them from the 1950's are lens reflections

It looks like a pic of someones eye but with the colours played with! Maybe 'him upstairs' (if you believe there is such a 'person') has his beady eye on you hahaha

hard to tell from your picture but it looks like it might be lens flare?
if it is here's a good laymans guide to avoiding it though for what you are trying to achieve may take more specialist equipment.
