economy 7 hwt change over

Hi, I am at present wanting to renew my Economy 7 hot water tank.

Fairly easy i suspect. Reading up on new cylinders, 1200mmx400mm direct E7, Now they have to cold feeds. why is this. I have got to run an addition supply to the new HWT. ??

Im assuming this is to increase head pressure? Can anybody put me right.

I need to order a 400mmX 1200mm direct Economy 7 HWT with two elements.

1) 1 x boost, top
2) 1 x economy 7 bottom

is it now they all com with two cold feeds????
