Is this "economy button" (the green button) a feature which also appears on other TRVs other than this Honeywell Valencia VTL120? I don't think I've seen it before.

Is the purpose of this to easily turn off a specific radiator, without having to adjust the radiator setting on that TRV i.e. it can be turned on again with exactly the same setting?

Is this a worthwhile feature to look for in a TRV? Thanks

it is simply just a setting limiter, say you had some rooms that are small and heat up no problem so you set the sensor at say two , then the cold wife comes in and turns it up to 5, you can lock the head in position 2 using the green button, these have been around in one form or another for many years , as for turning it off and then back to the same setting, Im not so sure as most with the button to reset it you close the valve and the button pops out, so when you set it back to what it was you have to push the button in again, not sure with this one as havent seen one
