Hi,

I will use elastilon for maple solid wood installation (80mm, 18mm, xx mm). I will go with 3mm strong elastilon.

Is this ok?

Also, does ends of every plank need to be glued. Or just ones at the first few rows?

Thanks,
Haris

The Elatilon will 'act' as a glue for the lenght ways, all the end T&G should be glued
If the 3mm is ok depends on the qyuality of your underfloor: level, many bumps or dips/holes?

Thanks! That was not obvious from Elastelon installation manual.

Floor is concrete covered with cork. It's a new building.

How will glued part shrink? And what if glue break?

Not exactly sure what you mean. The whole floor will be stuck down on the Elastilon underlayment, wood does shrink/expand but the Elastilon will reduce the visual effect. Since wood works in the width the eleastilon will keep the lonlg sides of the boards together, the top sides need this extra PVAC glue to keep together.
What glue could break?

Ok.Thanks.

I have one more question.

Is it advisable to use some other underlay with Elastilon (before Elastilon)when there are some unevenness on the floor? And can that be used only on places where floor is not properly leveled? What you will recommend?
Don't say Elastilon 5 mm, because I already have 3 mm :)

Thanks for instant replys, and sorry strange questions ... this is my first floor installation.

Regards,
Haris

Elastilon should be able to 'cover' small unevenesses in your floor, depending of course how uneven it is (bump or 'hole').
Using extra underlayment might result in creating a bouncing floor.
