I'd like to install some permanent heating in my bathroom, but I have no central heating system, so it will have to be electric. I was thinking an oil-filled radiator - however do these need to be splashproof or IP rated? Does anyone know if the Dimplex OFX radiator with timer would be suitable for this purpose?

From memory - the OFX range are free standing :?: So no.

You will need to give more info on the size of the room, location of heater, bath/shower, and distance of heater from shower/bath.

You will most likely need one rated with a higher IP than usual - give use the measurements, and someone will help ya!

Maybe a fan heater at high level would be easier.

Or maybe a towel rad (electric or wet). These do also heat the room very well.
