I am looking to fit a door opener to my retractable single garage door. I have found a chamberlain ml700 for 119.00. Does anyone know if this is any good? Also I have no other access to the garage, so will require a manual overide, however would like to use the existing lock/handle rather than have to fit a new one. Any advice appreciated.

the manual override usually consists of a lock barrel fitted near the top of the door,if the unit fails then you insert the key and the barrel comes out and you pull it,this disconnects the electric unit via a cable allowing you to open the door manualy.
thats all i can offer in info
