Hi, my night hot water has stopped working (bottom element on picture). I have done the reset but no luck. Can I replace this thermostat part easily (I assume that’s what it is)? Thanks for help.

do you know the night timer is coming on and providing power - I'm assuming a fused spur on that bottom elelment (cant see from photo) and if so - is the fuse OK in that

sometimes the night supply comes via another fuse/consumer unit - and also provides power for storage heaters?

Yes you are correct also power the storage units as well which are coming on.
As you can see from this photo the bottom spur only has switch unless there is a fuse inside.

As above if you have a multimeter and are competent to use it check if you have a live feed to immersion heater element.
It's actually far more likely the element has gone rather than the stat.
No I don’t have a multimeter.

is there a separate consumer unit for the storage heaters & water heater - in case thats tripped
without a meter difficult to be sure , but i guess likely the element

Best to be sure it is actually faulty, because swapping it is not a job to be tackled lightly - they do often rip the cylinder, in attempting to get the old one out. Then the whole job becomes much more expensive.

and maybe a good torch/light - as it should only be live probably sometime between 10:00pm and 8am ish, anylights on the storage heaters so you can see when power on
