Hi,

I recently moved into a new apartment that has an LED electric mirror in the bathroom. The LED light wasn't turning on, so I disconnected the power and reconnected it. After doing that, the mirror worked fine. However, after I turned it off, it wouldn't turn back on. Instead, it just gives a quick flash, and I can't turn it back on again. When I disconnect and reconnect the power, it works fine again and stays on for as long as I keep it on. But once I turn it off and try to turn it back on, it doesn't work again unless I disconnect the power. The mirror also has a sensor and a heater inside. The sensor is working because I can turn the mirror on and off up to a certain point, but eventually it stops responding.

Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

The electrical circuit inside the mirror has developed a fault.
Could be anything.
If you feel competent in doing so you could open it up and post some photos. Might be something you can diagnose but i suspect you wont be able to fix it.

The IR sensor is overridden by the re connection of power but is otherwise faulty.
