I'm looking to install a new en-suite. If I go for an electric shower, am I likely to have fewer problems with pressure? Also is it likely to be cheaper to install? (I'm presuming usage costs would be cheaper running off the combi boiler??)
If you have a combi don't bother with an electric shower. Run one on a shower mixer from the combi.
Electric is usually more expensive to install, unless you go for the Rolls Royce of shower mixers. Electric showers also usually don't give such a good flow as combis, even the highest kilowatt ones. Lastly, electric showers are more expensive to run.
If you have a combi, use it for showering. That's what they're for.
