electric ovens , gas hobs

hi. for landlord checks do electric ovens have to be pulled out?? ive never done it except for tracing leaks.inspect gas pipe work that is accessible is the reg's is what i adhere to. surely if that was the case any gas pipe behind a panel with screws would have to be inspected!!!i always thought inspection of gas pipe that is visual .im asking because i shut down a customer. meter leaking from ecv. transco came repaired meter, no leaks on system but entered property pulled out oven and disconnected because no isolation valve on hob!!!!thanks

oh hob was installed 5 years ago. surely ncs if discovered,

NCS if no isolation valve, I always pull out oven and offer to put one in.

Quick £80 if they agree, NCS if they dont.

thats what i thought. its a grey area. isolation tap is a compression joint toobehind an oven. hardly accessiable!!! i ve no idea why this transco disconnected the hob. ncs is what id classify it as not i.d.!!!! thanks

what type of iso valve is it if water one then it is id

Pull out the oven and have a good look.
You would be amazed how many hobs were installed on flexi LPG hose.
