My mira sport 8 needs a new micro switch with increasing regularity - the last one lasted 6 weeks. It is usually the one for the second heating element in the tank. The switch overheats causing the slight melting of the body leading to the internal contacts not functioning and thus the element not receiving power. I have used new switches identical to the originals (22 amp) and made sure that the push-on connectors are tight. The shower is 10 years old but has had only one user. A neighbour with the same model but 3 times the use has never replaced a switch while I must be on my 6th at least.
