Hi Everyone

I have an old Gainsborough 300 shower (brown cover) and I need to replace it, can anyone recommend a replacement where I do not have to alter any wiring or pipework, but also leave new tiling in place.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Is this the one with the pump and no heater element?

Hi softus

Thanks for your reply.

Not sure which one it is, and as I am unable to check at present due to work commitments, I would be grateful for any info on either system.

Sorry for being a little vague but I can hopefully get round there next week.

Thanks again

Does it have a big pullswitch on the ceiling, or does it have a small switch located low down outside the bathroom?

most likely to be an electrically heated shower then.

Cant help though. Wait for more experienced folks. Another gainsborough may be your only option unfortunately (cos they are pants)

Thanks Rupert

I may have to contact gainsborogh anyway quoting dimensions etc but I would prefer a triton as I think they are more reliable.

Its the kilowatt rating you need to look at.

Swap like for like i.e 8.5 kw for same. :D
