Electric Shower

Hi

I'm going to be replacing an electric shower. Can anyone tell me what relevance the kWattage has when replacing??
Do you have to put the same kW shower back in or can you have a different one?

Any advice greatly appreciated

KW is the power the shower draws.
You can fit a new shower if it is of a lower rating.
For a higher rating, you need to get the extisting wiring checked out.
