Probably not as an electric shower heats its own water and is plumbed to the mains cold water supply.
Your electric supply size needs to be checked, as does your bonding before one is fitted.
Also, installing a shower is notifiable to your LABC under Part P of the building regs.

don't do it.
Electric showers are rubbish compared to ones heated using the hot water, alhtough these sometimes do have trouble with combi boilers.
Just my opinion.
