Electric Shower

Hi there guys, got a Electric shower (Heatrae Sadia 'dove') and last night it decided to leak water out of the bottom. had a look inside and seems like an O ring has some loose...

I've looked up the shower unit on the internet and no one has it listed not even Heartrae's website any other ideas of where to find information on it??

Hmm, as you have water and not electricity leaking from the bottom, may I suggest you try the plumbers forum?

PS, Turn off the power to it until its being fixed.

Ring heatrae sadia. They have a support dept.

on the electrics side of things,is it moderately simple to install a new one?

If it is a like for like replacement, and the existing MCB/cable is suitable then yes, it should be pretty easy.

any electrical work in a bathroom is subject to part p of the building regulations and as such needs to be done by a registered electrician OR notified to the LABC before you commence work..
