electric window

just bought a nissan almera sport at auction with s/history drives nice only one problem the n/s electric window not working.
anyone got any ideas why, could it be a fuse? is there anything Icould try thanks in advance.

it might be a fuse,motor,switch or the wires from the car to the door.

Ignition on but without starting the car, can you hear any sounds when you operate the window switch?
One of the rear windows on my BMW was not working when I got the car, on depressing the switch, a click could be heard, door trim removed, the motor was trying to go but had partially seized, I loosened the motor and it started, bolted back in position it has not failed since..
