Does any one know how much (roughly) it costs do divert the over head power lines.
At the moment mine go to the back of my garage and I want it to come into the front so a shortening of 7m

They are very friendly, give them a call and they'll do a survey. Then they'll, buy new batteries for their calculator, and make up send you a cost.

I think it varies a lot, so the OP should certainly ask his DNO.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine had a ('rural') overhead supply very significantly re-routed (by SSE, if I recall), and the cost was far more modest than I would have expected/suspected/feared. For fairly obvious reasons, I think it's re-routing of underground supplies that command the really big bucks!
