electrical diversion

Hi
Does any one know how much (roughly) it costs do divert the over head power lines.
At the moment mine go to the back of my garage and I want it to come into the front so a shortening of 7m

Lots, is usually the answer the DNO will give you!
I think it varies a lot, so the OP should certainly ask his DNO.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine had a ('rural') overhead supply very significantly re-routed (by SSE, if I recall), and the cost was far more modest than I would have expected/suspected/feared. For fairly obvious reasons, I think it's re-routing of underground supplies that command the really big bucks!
