Hi
I have a new dual fuel Stoves range cooker and need to buy the flex cable for connecting the cooker terminal block to the power supply. The manual just says ‘suitable flex with temperature rating above 70 degrees’ but there are many options I see for cable to buy with different mm size etc. can anyone advise me on what cable would be suitable? 0.75mm / 1mm etc? The manual seems to say the cooker has a max load of 8.45kw. It’s a Stoves Sterling s900df

at 4 Amps per kW that is 33 Amps at full load

Hence 4mm² would be needed

CA 4TQ3/50

4.0mm² 3 core Butyl Flex Black 50M

4.0mm 3183TQ Butyl Flex Black 50m
Application
Cookers and Hobbs.
Other applications that require flexible heat resistant cable
Can be used in areas where the cable may come into contact with grease or oil.
Current Rating: 35 Amps
