We were changing light fittings today and had no issue with our downstairs one but when it came to the one upstairs which is controlled by 2 switches we had come unstuck.

I have attached photos of the new (all black) and old fittings (silver) along with the wires from the ceiling. We have tried both brown in L and both blue in N so far with no luck.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks!

Unless you have a photo of the wiring BEFORE you disconnected the old light then I can only guess:

The blue with the brown tape is live to the new light
The two blues go to the neutral on the new light
You must connect the earth wires (in the green/yellow sleeving) to a separate terminal block. Your new light doesnt need to be earthed.

Which leaves a mystery brown. I THINK that should go in the block with the other two browns but (as I say) its a guess.
