Hi all

I am trying to fix a steam generator iron.

The boiler assembly has a small overheat sensor glued to it but unfortunately one of the lugs has fallen off.

The lug doesn't seem to have been soldered originally so I guess that I need to find some kind of electrically conductive heat resistant glue.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Tnx. I did buy some of that but decided that it would not be adhesive enough.

In the end I got the soldering iron out.

I discovered that the small component is an NTC thermistor. I have no idea if I have damaged it or not. The boiler unit heats up, steam comes out as it should but no water is leaving the reservoir to re-fill the boiler unit. I now need to trouble shoot that. ..
