Hey folks.

This is my dishwasher supply. I need to take out this valve and swap it for a "T" connector so I can split the supply into two. The dishwasher will reconnect to one side, and a new water filter to the other. I need to be able to isolate either side independently.

Could someone give me a shopping list? I'll be fine if someone can tell me the right size connectors...

Cheers in advance!

Others can tell you how to do it but there may be a quick solution if you split it with a 15 mm compression tee.

Your existing WMV can connect to one side of it and copper pipe to the filter on the other side.

If it's 2 x 3/4" ends you need then get one of these - you'll get it from screwfix, just remove and replace your current one.

You're right BG, didn't read that sentence for some silly reason. Though in saying that, what would it matter given it's only a filter on one side and DW on the other.
Otherwise it's Tony's suggestion of popping a 15mm compression equal Tee on there, little stub of pipe on each leg then a WM tap on each end of that pipe.

Great stuff fellas. 15mm compression tee it is. As long as I can isolate the filter then that's all I'm fussed about, so will probably wack another 15mm valve on there too.

Cheers :D

Yup simi, take the current valve off, the tee will then fit onto the piece of pipe where the valve was that will still have the chrome nut on it, then a little PTFE tape around the olive just to be sure.

And don't forget to isolate the power at the distribution board, before working on any mains water circuit!
