Electricity, garage en bloc

Hi all

Basically I have a garage en bloc, o was hoping to add some electricity to, to mostly power a treadmill, cross trainer and abit of lighting if that's at all possible.

Is there an relatively easy way to do this ? My house is near but not next to the garages so I doubt running s line from my house is an option

Someone suggested A car battery, but I'm.not sure if there's alternative options or better options

My FIL fitted solar panels on the roof of his garage, then used them to trickle charge 2 leisure batteries.

It worked fine to supply power for lighting and electric garage door motor which uses 24v

You would need an inverter to get 240v if thats what the gym equipment uses

Surly you running on the treadmill should power the lights.

Choose equipment that doesn't need electric motors.

Lighting is easy and cheap, but 240v AC at greater currents means the inverter will be expensive. So will the storage batteries.

If it is just to run the display and sensors then the gym equipment may already be 12v and will happily run from a car or leisure battery. Even if its mains only a small invertor may be enough. They are pretty cheap now. Have a look for the power ratings. LED lighting is easy to run from a battery. For charging a solar panel would be nice or just carry the battery back the house once a week, or however often it needs, for charging.

Put a generator on the treadmill to generate power for the lights.

I'm abit of a novice, would anyone please link to the things needed at all please? All sounds more hopeful than I first thought,

I know it's probably not going to be cheap, but if it's cheaper than paying £300-400 a year on gym memberships then it's still worth looking into for me I think
