ELECTRICS + LIGHTING PLAN

Hi

We are refurbing the family home, a 3 bed bungalow. New Kitchen, family bathroom and 1 enuites and new 4th bedroom.

Before work starts we would like for an electrical plan and lighting plan to be done for the house and garden so that we can provide this to electrican who can install/price accordingly.

After many attempts at asking electricans and lighting shope to advise us we have not had any positive advice.

Generally lighting shops only supply and electricans only install so there seems to be a gap in the market.

Rather than this being an after thought and worse our kitchen and bathroom looking like as airport run way, can anybody help or advise.

Could do with a floorplan along with ceiling height, cupboard depths/locations, desired effects, desired lighting (spot, downlights, plinth lights, etc).

An electrician can advice on things like number of sockets in each room.

There are companies that do lighting design, but it tends to be an up-market service. Some quick googling found these two:

They are just the first two I found - I have no idea how good they are.
