Electrics or Decorating firstly?

Hi, I want to buy some new ceiling roses, rocker switches and gang switches for installation. These particular 2 rooms, I want to strip wallpaper and repaint.

Which should be first electrics or decorating?
(looks like plaster work around one of the light switches needs re-doing.

I would do the electrics first & decorating last because there may be damage to the decor when changing the electrics, either because extra work is required, by tools or dirty hands. Also, the area covered by the new equipment may be smaller that the original.

I's a good idea not to post the same question in more that one forum. First of all it's against the rules and the mods may come after you..
