Electrolux ESL6115 Dishwasher not working

Hi, finally getting round to sorting this out after months of ignoring it...!

The issue seems to be with the power switch; basically, when it worked, the large square on/off switch in the doore would illuminate the program buttons, the relevant program was then selected using the 'cancel' button which meant the program light staying on and dishwasher starting when the door was closed.

The problem seems to be that when the on/off button is pressed the lights come on but as soon as you take your finger off the button the lights go out meaning you cant select any programs! Does anyone have any idea what this may be? Is it a faulty switch? If so could you advise how i could go about changing it? Ive had enough of washing up in the sink!

On most of these models the on/off switch is integrated on the pcb (doesn't normally have a stand alone switch).
If you post the PNC number on the door sticker I can confirm it.

The on/off switch is integrated on the pcb. It could be a simple interface problem but you'll have to remove the control panel to see exactly what's going on.
A new pcb for this model costs around £100 so it is worth taking a peek first.
