Electrolux Washer dryer EWX14540 W Ed4 fault

Hi all,
hope you can help, we have an Electrolux washer dryer EWX14540W
which comes up with an error code of Ed4. The integrated machine is about 18 months old due to being in an unsold new flat and this is the first time its been used we think.
Any ideas what this could be? I have checked all the normal things such as water pressure, draining pipe discharge height and electric input.

If you're lucky your Ed4 error is just a tripped thermostat on the heater box. Pull the plug & take off the lid, you'll see the heater box directly underneath. It has 2 thermostats + an NTC. Check continuity of the thermostats, heater element resistance & NTC resistance. One thermostat is a manual reset type.
If all seems ok then the fault is likely a damaged WD card or main pcb.
