Will be grateful for help on this.
System Windows 7 + Thunderbird with two accounts, O2 and BT.
No problem with BT. O2 account gets incoming mail but will not send messages (even though they later appear in Sent folder) saying
"An error occurred sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: Cannot connect to SMTP server 82.132.141.69 (82.132.141.69:587), connect error 10060. "
In my ignorance I don’t even know whether guilty party is me, O2 or T’bird.
I’ve read that a simple System Restore may work, but I don’t have a Restore Point more than 10 days old. Perhaps this is my fault for letting C Cleaner operate on System files (which was either its default setting or a gremlin altered it) .
