Hello,
I'm so sorry to ask such a clueless question - I have just opened four "emergency use only" handles on a giant double glazed window in my new front room. I didn't see the label on them, which suggests that I have made a big mistake.
The window doesn't open fully - just on a sort of catch thing, a bit like in a hotel room, where it opens a little bit.
What on earth do I do now? It won't close (presumably this is why the "emergency use only" handles are on), and is just ajar slightly
Is this a job for a window repair company?
Many thanks
