Employers liability insurance for roofers

Hello,

This post goes out to all roofers who on here, i have searched the internet and have several quotes for liability insurance for myself and one 'employee' they range from £950 with £2500 excess up to £2000 plus with £300 excess, this includes working with heat. (which i must have) Can anyone suggest any other insurance companys i can try apart from the major search engine sites, i was paying £300 last year and now have an employee the price has rocketed, not a problem but would be good if you roofers could suggest any other, or better deals before i jump in at the deep end. they cant be beat all the others have so many restrictions they are not worth the money.
