First time fitting porcelain but have done a bit of tiling in the past.
Tiles are 600x300mm x 8mm and are suitable for floor and wall.
2 of the walls surrounding the shower will be 12.5mm standard plasterboard and one plaster wall will be primed.
All shower walls will have schulter kerdi installed using flexible tile adhesive.
Floor is 18mm marine ply with many extra noggins between the joists then schulter ditra decoupling membrane installing using flexible adhesive.
So now to the questions.
I have a 10mm half moon adhesive trowel, will this be OK for this size tile?
If using this trowel how thick will the adhesive bed be once the tiles installed.

How high up the shower wall should the Kerdi go? I thought about 1.5m.

I have a overhead tile cutter, do I need a special blade for porcelain ?

Which size self leveling spacers should I use ?
I was hoping 2mm would be ok.

Should the plasterboard be primed before installing the Kerdi.?

Many thanks for reading.
