Encapsulated void suspended ground floor

I've seen some videos about "crawl space encapsulation". Was thinking this could be a viable option here in England with the high moisture and heavy rain we get. I have a 1930s suspended timber ground floor.

Thoughts on blocking air blocks and encapsulating the entire void space and adding a dehumidifier?
