Hello all, me again

I'm trying to locate some plastic end caps for some 2" (or 48mm or whatever it is) scaffolding type steel tube for a bracket I'm currently making.

I wan't them in black if possible, but I could probably paint them if not.

I don't know where I'd start looking for this sort of thing.

I've enclosed a couple of photos to give you a better idea of what I'm looking for.

Thanks to anyone who reads this.

RS do them in various sizes. if it's 48.3 o/d then you want someone like AS Supplies (key clamp style fittings and stuff), or your local steel stockholder will do them.

Do you know what there proper name is?

I'll have a thumb through the RS catalogues and see what I find

Thanks :)

Thanks for the help chaps.

I've ordered a bag of them from RS as I have an account with them.

Thanks again :D

Alternatively got to an engine remanufacturer or supplier of engine parts and get an engine block core plug,or as our american cousins call them freeze plugs

The end caps arrived from RS this morning, and are exactly what I was after.

Thanks once again chaps :D :D
