Engineer hardwood flooring

Hello,

I will be laying engineer hardwood in a herringbone pattern. The flooring in engineered hardwood. It will be floating and with tounge and groove sections.

Is it necessary to glue the tounge and groove sections?

Probably, if its true tongue and groovype as opposed to click fit. What do the MI’s state?

Yes.
Use a D4 wood glue of a good brand.

Who is the manufacturer? You shouldn’t float any herringbone wood. All should be fixed to the sub floor?
