Hi

We have old house, concrete floor with tiles on top. There is no insulation or DPM that I can see. And we're NOT going to dig up the tiles or concrete (ceiling is very high, so can repeat 30x if needed - just add steps lol)

Anyway....

The engineered oak (14mm) will be click-lock, and installed over 6mm foam roll type insulation with electic UFH. All good, all standard.

But apparently I need to install a DPM under the insulation to protect the floor.

What sort do I need and what spec, and how do you fix it? The foam insulation is just spray adhesive onto the tiles (or would be, now it needs to fix to the DPM).

So need to fix DPM to tiles, and foam insulation to the DPM

(EUFH will be adhesive and stick to insulation, and floor will float)

Insulation considering: http://rayotec.com/shop/insulation-rolls - as well as their EUFH - wood flooring from UK Flooring direct
