Hi all,

I am lookign to instal 18mm engineered wooden flooring in one of my existing rooms. I have discovered after lifting the carpets that half the room has a concrete sunbstrate (which I am assuming had no DPM due to the age of the build) and the other half is 22mm floorboards over suspended joists.

Could anyone provide any guidance as to how I should lay the flooring;

1. floating floor over a DPM
2. liquid DPM over concrete then glue down over each substrate
3. Overboard entire area with ply then nail down

Anyone offer any constructive advice would be appreciated.
