I've just installed an EPDM roof to a garden structure I've built a few weeks ago. When installed it was covered in a shiny silvery powder that I just left on as I assumed the rain would wash this clean.
As you can see from the picture the rubber foof is a patchy light grey colour. Is there a product I can use to make it darker or would a mop with washing up liquid help?
Thanks.

It's outdoors! Why on God's gracious earth are you fussing over the roof colour? It will be rained on, shat on, snowed on and be covered in all that modern day pollution can throw at it, every single day.

Because it can bee seen from my windows and I expected it to look similar to this. I was wondering if theres a step I have missed getting it to look the same.

Mine looks crap after 5 years - there's still some chalk writing from the factory that hasn't faded/washed away. Fortunately it's a roof so I rarely see it. Isn't that picture a fibreglass roof?
