I'm going to be constructing an extension with an EPDM roof. This will be flush with the original wall- as in pic below (not my photo). The bit I'm struggling to envision is the detailing circled in red on the photo. Is this just rubber flashing tape bent around onto the original house? Ans there seems to be no overhang other than the facsia board? I'd originally planned to ladder in a 100mm overhang on mine, but again I'm not sure now to terminate the EPDM if I was to extend the roof past the original wall.
I can find lots of videos and examples where the roof ends shorter than the original building but not flush or further. Any advice greatly appreciated!
