Hi all,
Looking into reboarding and recovering a flat roof extension at my cottage. Currently its in felt but looking at epdm as boards will need replaced
The flat roof adjoins to a pitched slate roof were the slates are directly nailed to the sarking. There is no battens or tar paper. Slates drain onto flat roof which drains to gutter.
What's the best way to join the epdm to the pitched roof? Remove the bottom rows of slates and glue the epdm up onto the sarking before nailing back down the slates? Alternative options?
Thanks in advance
Doug
