In the last few days 1 zone (2) of my heating controls has been playing up. Zones 1 & 2 are all programmed to come on at the same time however Zone 2 does not come on at programmed time, the thermostat is set above the ambient temp for that zone. On removing the thermostat cover there is no power to it. After an undefined period it comes on off is own accord. During my investigations I swopped the power leads to the zone valves over and both zone valves operate correctly. I have also reset and reprogrammed the controller which has made no difference. Turning the thermostat down below ambiengt and up above ambient makes no difference. Any ideas on what could be the cause?

If there’s no power at the thermostat, it’s not receiving it from the programmer, check for loose wires.
Try a hard reset, you will have to input day and time and reset all programmes
