Equipment needed

Can i get an idea on what stuff i need to change the oil on my van, changes filters etc. I am going to try and learn about the mechanic world as i think it will be better for me in the long run.

Currently my brakes are squeaking and i know they need a good clean, but i am not sure where to start.

So what propping equipment should i get.

What jack should i buy ? any good make or features ?

Do i need two props to hold up the vehicle for a longer time period ?

I get by with two large trolley jacks (truck size) but if I'm underneath then axle stands are a must too.
Machine Mart do all you need - a smaller trolley jack (two ton) is a good start.
