Erbauer plunge router not plunging deeply enough

I am using a Erbauer 2100 watt Router upside down in a router table. The router bit does not appear sufficiently proud of the table surface - even when on full plunge. :evil: :evil:

Is there an adjustable stop preventing it from reaching full depth? Or maybe you've pushed the bit in too far, two thirds is about right.
 
This is a common problem with plunge routers in router tables, especially if the table top is made of something like 18mm MDF. The solution is to fit a collet extender (like this one) and then fit the cutter into the extender. That particular one needs you to buy the specific collet and a special wrench, but it is about the best on the market. Others like this one are also available
